Small Business Owner/Financial Adviser

I graduated from Mentor High School. I have an Associate of Arts from Lakeland Community College. I have a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Cleveland State University.

I have over 20 years of experience in financial services as a financial adviser and small business owner. I also have over a decade's worth of experience working in our non-profit community.

Efficiency. We have to learn how to do more with less. We have to be smarter in how we spend our taxpayer dollars.

I plan on having conversations that were previously held behind closed doors be part of the Commissioners' meetings. This will add transparency to our decision making process which will improve communication with our citizens.

I have no firsthand knowledge to either question. I am told that a new jail is needed. Unfortunately, most jail decisions will be made before next year.

That is a problem, no transparency, commissioner meetings are full of nonsense bickering amongst the commissioners… (answer truncated due to length).

Scheduled townhalls, State of Lake County addresses. Communication is the key, with my background we were good stewards of our donor dollars, we need to be the same for taxpayer dollars. If we don't want our residents to know something, then we probably shouldn't be.… (answer truncated due to length).

According to the limited information provided to the taxpayers, yes, we are being told that our current jail is in such a horrible condition that we have no other choice but to build a new one. The new jail will cost 205 million dollars, currently… (answer truncated due to length).
